Services for Families in Maryland & Virginia

We are proud to help families in Maryland and Virginia build their families through adoption. We also offer Post Adoption Services to adoptees and families placed through Children’s Home and A.S.I.A.

We would love to speak to you about your individual circumstances. Email: [email protected] | Phone: 301.562.6500

We Provide the following Services:

International Adoption Services

We are able to work with families living in Maryland and Virginia who are desiring to adopt internationally. You may choose one of our country programs, or we can offer international home study services if you are working with another placing agency.

We will work with you through each step of the process and ensure you are following the procedures and guidelines of your state, the U.S., and the country from which you are adopting.

Infant Adoption Services
We are able to work with families in Maryland and Virginia who would like to adopt an infant domestically. You may choose to work with our Infant Program, or we can offer home study services if you work with another placing agency. Our Infant Program is offered in collaboration with our Minnesota office. We offer both profile and outreach services, if you utilize our profile service your information will be made visible to expectant parents exploring adoption, some of whom are using our Pregnancy Services.
Home Study Services
We are able to work with families in Maryland and Virginia who are in need of comprehensive home study and post-placement/post-adoption reporting services. If you are working with us for home study services, this would mean you are working with another agency that would oversee the placement process for a U.S. infant adoption or international adoption. Services are more than just your home study report. Home Study Services include; guidance through the application process, meetings and support from a licensed social worker, notarized home study reports, education/training, post-placement/post-adoption reporting and finalization assistance. You may work with us for Post Placement-Post Adoption Reporting Services only if you have a completed adoption and are in need of a local provider to assist in completing the reporting and finalization process.
Post Adoption Services
In collaboration with our Minnesota office, we are happy to provide adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents with Post Adoption Services. These services are open to those who have adoptions completed by Children’s Home, LSSMN or Adoption Service Information Agency (A.S.I.A.). Depending on your country of adoption, post adoption services may include; search and reunion, document copies, birth parent correspondence (domestic or international), reverse searches, and travel support.
