Meet 12 Children Who Wait for Families This December

December 16, 2018 by Staff Contributor

There are many children in need this holiday season. During our 5th annual advocacy campaign, we hope to bring your attention to 12 children and sibling groups who wait to be adopted.

This advocacy campaign is fueled by the hope that each of these kids will find permanent, loving families. As we start each campaign, we like to celebrate the success stories—7 of the children who we’ve advocated for in the past two Decembers have already joined or will be joining adoptive homes soon. But we also reflect on missed opportunities—one of the kids we advocated for has since turned 18. She was able to gain some independence but was never adopted.

We will post a child or sibling group that is in need of advocacy on this blog each day. Please share these blogs with others and ask yourself if you or someone you know could make room for one more.

Please scroll down and click on the pictures to learn more about the children.
