Our Adoption Support Fund is a unique grant program open to anyone using our adoption or post adoption services. Those interested complete a short application process and a grant committee consisting of staff from all of our program areas reviews each application and determines the award amount. We prioritize grants for post adoption services and for families adopting relatives, teens, sibling groups and children of all ages who have identified needs.
This past year we granted nearly $140,000. This brings our grand total disbursements to over $600,000 since the fund began!

“With your support, you are allowing me to confront a mystery that’s both puzzled and humbled me my whole life. I am about to graduate college, and with your support I feel like everything is coming together.”
“I can’t thank you enough for selecting me for this grant. I will not be paid during my maternity leave, but I want to take this time off to build a strong bond as she adjusts to her new life. This will allow me the opportunity to make sure I can meet my daughter’s needs once she is home. Thank you does not seem like enough, but thank you from the bottom of my heart! You have made a big difference in my daughter’s life.”
“Words cannot begin to express the amount of gratitude in our hearts for the support you gave us on our most recent trip to Ethiopia. Although the entire trip was blessed and wonderful, without a doubt the highlights included the special times that we were able to share with the kids’ birth families. The ability for our kids to make the connections that they did was priceless. As parents, we are completely humbled by it all. We are honored you believe in the importance and value of these interactions enough to give us the generous help that you did to make them happen.”
