Adrian and Lucian are identical 4-year-old twins. They are energetic, playful, and love to discover new things about the world around them. Both boys enjoy spinning, jumping, and climbing. They are extremely active, and love using their voices!
“Adrian is curious, sweet, and active, and Lucian is cuddly, caring, and a follower,” says their Child-Specific Recruiter, Lyla. While they enjoy many of the same toys and activities, Adrian loves playing alone while Lucian enjoys staying close to his caregiver.
Nothing makes Adrian light up like swinging! He loves going up high in the air. Lucian on the other hand is a little more reserved. He enjoys puzzles, movies, and playing in the water. They both agree on their favorite toy – a jumper that they love to bounce and play on.
The boys currently live with a cat in their foster home and enjoy petting it and following it around. Although they sometimes need to be reminded to be gentle, they are very caring with pets and animals.
When thinking about what type of family Adrian and Lucian will need to help them thrive, Lyla says, “The boys need structure (routines and the same items every day), a clutter-free home so they can be as safe as possible, and a committed family who won’t give up on them. In their future home, Adrian and Lucian will need to be close to support services. They have just started at a new school and it would be nice if they could continue in the same type of school setting. These boys need to be in a family that will stick with them and celebrates their tiny victories.”
With the care, attention, and patience from a loving family, the boys will surely have a bright and hopeful future. “Adrian and Lucian have grown and learned so much since they have been in foster care,” says Lyla. “The team is optimistic that with the right family, these boys will thrive and continue to keep learning!”
