Makayla can be described as creative, excitable, daring, resilient and independent. She is outgoing and generally talkative. She enjoys spending time with friends and is kind to both younger and older peers. She is a fun teenager to spend time with and works hard in school. She enjoys singing, crafts and is open to trying new activities. Makayla likes to help, especially to earn money or privileges.

Makayla is open to a variety of families and communities. She would prefer to live in a small town though, possibly with older siblings and a dog. It would be best if she was the only child or the youngest child in the home.
Details to Note
Makayla has a close relationship with her maternal great grandmother and she would need to maintain contact with her following adoption. The majority of costs to Minnesota clients adopting a child under Minnesota state guardianship are covered by a contract with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
