A 5,000 child-specific grant is available to his family
“Joel” was counting down the days for his eighth birthday and was surprised with a bike by volunteers. He loves his bike and wants to ride it during every free moment. He parks it in a secure place and will wash it with a squirt gun to keep it clean.
Beyond his beautiful brown eyes and charming smile, a volunteer notes that he has one of the most beautiful hearts she has seen in a young boy. He loves to help others, shows concern when others are upset, is quick to apologize if he accidentally hurts someone, and even wants an extra seat on the back of his bike so he can give rides to his friends. Joel is also described as smart, clever and creative. He is excelling in school despite his need to have his energy redirected and loves to build.
We cannot share full, clear photos of Joel publicly, but photos and more information are available for eligible families who inquire.
