Through our one-on-one partnership, “ZQ” was recently observed by our agency staff. Agency staff describe her as a sweet, easy going and happy little girl who can say single words and understands what is said to her. She was born in February 2010 and has Down Syndrome. Staff noted that she plays well with other children, can feed and dress herself, walk, and run well and quickly figured out how to use the iPad. After showing “ZQ” a light up ball she immediately understood how to turn it on again. “ZQ” loves to wear pretty clothes and likes to play with blocks, listen to music and enjoys helping the caregivers with the younger children.
