Meet Kids Who Love to Giggle Together: Siblings waiting this December

December 15, 2017 by Staff Contributor

All five siblings lean on each other and smile for the camera. They would like to be adopted together into one family. We’ve been advocating for this sibling group since this summer but have yet to find their adoptive family. We would love to wrap up 2018 knowing these fantastic kids are matched! A $20,000 child-specific grant is available to their adoptive family (eligible until 1/15/2018).

This sibling group in Latin America has a very close bond. We are advocating for them to find a family open to adopting all five children together.

All five kids attend school and are well adapted in their classrooms. The oldest sister smiles at the camera. She has pigtails in her hair and is wearing a pink shirt. They form good relationships with their teachers and peers. A recent update indicates that they all love to go to the beach, are playful and outgoing.

“D,” the oldest sister, is 11 years old. She enjoys school and likes to paint or draw for fun. She has positive interactions with others and is known as empathetic, resilient, and independent. She thrives in groups and also shows some natural leadership skills during peer activities. There are no medical concerns with D’s health.

The elder brother smiles at the camera with closed lips. His eyes sparkle.

Brother “O” is a well-adjusted, 9-year-old boy with an extroverted personality. He does well academically and is especially good at mathematics. O’s favorite sport is soccer—he even plays three times a week! He has highly developed social skills and there are no concerns with his development

“MB” is 8 years old and she too is described as well-adjusted and academic. Although she is more shy than her siblings, MB enjoys playing with her peers and in group activities. She has a close tie with her younger sister “FB” and frequently checks on her well-being. She has a minor, correctable health concern but otherwise has no known medical concerns.

The middle sister tips her head back as she smiles big. Her hair is slightly in her face.

7-year-old “FB” is both artistic and sporty. She seeks out appropriate affection from others. FB can play matching games and has a good attention span for her age. She has no known medical needs.

Baby brother “L” is 5 years old and thoroughly enjoys to play games with his peers. He is very capable of independent living skills such as feeding himself and getting dressed. He has a slight language delay specifically related to the pronunciation of certain sounds, but otherwise has no known concerns.

The children are full of giggles, laughter, and smiles. We have an adorable “day in the life” video of this sibling group that we would love to share with eligible families who inquire.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
