Cyber Monday is just around the corner, and many of us have already started buying presents. This holiday season, you can support children and families without changing your budget. Children’s Home Society of Minnesota participates in Amazon Smile—a program that allows shoppers to find the same products, pricing and shopping of Amazon.com, but with an added bonus. By shopping on smile.amazon.com, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.
How to Set Up Donations for First-time Amazon Smile Shoppers
On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you need to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Search for “Children’s Home Society of Minnesota” to set up our organization to receive donations. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation. You must visit smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com for each of your purchases to be eligible for the donation.
How to Update Your Donations if You’re Already an Amazon Smile Shopper
Once you visit smile.amazon.com, go to “Your Account.” Then select “Change Your Charity” under the “Shopping Programs and Rentals” section. You can then search for “Children’s Home Society of Minnesota.”
