Our G.R.O.W. (Guidance, Resources and Opportunities While you Wait) events are held quarterly (in January, April, July and October) and are open to all families in our infant adoption program that are in the home study process and beyond. These events will offer a chance for families to connect and learn about various topics from one another and adoption professionals.
Hear directly from birth parents who have made an adoption plan! During the morning’s panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to learn about each birth parent’s decision making process, how they selected an adoptive family, what openness looks like now, and much more. Families will quickly learn that each birth parent has a different story. The second half of the event will consist of an informal support group, providing the opportunity for waiting families to connect with one another about their experience. Families who attend will leave with a better understanding of the birth parent experience and perspective, and have new connections with other waiting families.
Please R.S.V.P. directly to your worker if you plan to attend.
