G.R.O.W. Virtual Event for Infant Adoption Families

(View All Support Groups Events)

January 22, 2022

A group of couples sit in a circle and talk about their experience adopting infants.

When Adopting A Baby is Harder Than Ever

Join us as we discuss the misconceptions of adoption in 2022 and how things have changed in domestic infant programs. We will talk through the article Adopting a Baby Is Harder Than Ever – The Atlantic and what this means for your adoption journey.

The second half of the event will consist of an adoptive parent informal support group, providing the opportunity for waiting families to connect with one another about their experiences. Families who attend will leave with a more informed perspective on Domestic Infant Adoption and how to work through the hard parts of waiting.

Location: This event is virtual and will take place on Zoom.

Our G.R.O.W. (Guidance, Resources and Opportunities While you Wait) events are held quarterly (January, April, July, and October) and are open to all families in our infant adoption program that are in the home study process and beyond. These events will offer a chance for families to connect and learn about various topics from one another and adoption professionals
