Speakers: Adult Adoptees & Stacy Zignego, MSW, LGSW, CH/LSS Post Adoption Staff
In celebration of National Adoption Month, we’re hosting a series of three webinars that will focus on different aspects of the adoption experience. In our third webinar, we’re inviting kids and their families to join us for an open conversation about being adopted.
Have you ever wondered, “Is it OK to sometimes think about my birth family?” “What it would be like to grow up in my birth country?” “How do I share with my friends at school that I’m adopted? They don’t know anybody who is adopted, and ask a lot of questions.” Adult adoptees will be joining us to help answer questions, along with our experienced staff. If your child would prefer to ask a question anonymously, please send your question to us in the form below and we’ll share the question anonymously during the webinar. We hope you’ll join us for this conversation!
Note: This webinar will take place on Zoom and will not be recorded. Registration is required. You will receive a link to join the webinar the day before the event. This webinar is recommended for kids 6+ and their parents or guardians.
