This is a training offered by MN Adopt.
Although it is not uncommon for adoptive and foster families to experience problematic sexual issues with their children, it is seldom, if ever, talked about. This leaves even highly experienced and skilled parents at a loss as to what to do and how to help their children. This training will provide caretakers with a context of how to identify and respond to a range of problematic sexual behaviors in children and youth, and will include:

Danette’s experience spans outpatient, residential, group home, inpatient, day treatment, and school settings and includes the extensive use of canine-assisted therapy and yoga-based/mindfulness practices. She has participated in published research, as well as presented locally and nationally on a variety of clinical topics.
