This live webinar will provide a safe space for families and/or professionals to share their experiences advocating for children of color. We will discuss how you can be an authentic ally and advocate for children and families of color and provide meaningful information about you can utilize cultural competency skills during home study interviews, the matching process, and parenting assessments.
This live webinar will focus on the topic of cultural awareness. Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with expert trainers of color and reflect on their experiences working with children and families of color. The training focuses on the concepts of trust-building, cultural advocacy, and understanding cultural norms and values for children and families of color.
