In this free two-part webinar series families and/or child welfare professionals will learn valuable information about how to engage in meaningful conversations about race and family. We will focus on the concept of trust-building, a fundamental aspect of how we must engage with children, families, and professionals of color. As an attendee of this webinar, you will engage in a meaningful conversation that will deepen your cultural awareness, understanding, and competency. Please commit to attending both events: November 2 and 16, 2021.

Part B: Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 6-8 p.m. (CST)

This live webinar will focus on the topic of cultural awareness. Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with expert trainers of color and reflect on their experiences working with children and families of color. The training focuses on the concepts of trust-building, cultural advocacy, and understanding cultural norms and values for children and families of color.
