We will learn how to tap a tree\, explore the evaporator\, and sample some delicious maple sugar and syrup. DESCRIPTION:Join Us for Community & Connection\nConnect2Connect provides opportunities for foster\, adoptive and kinship (formal or informal) families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person\, interactive\, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children\, Youth\, and Families Permanency Support Service grant. \nWhirlyBall Twin Cities\n13644 80th Cir N\nMaple Grove\, MN 55369 \nSaturday\, March 14\, 2026\, from 11:00 p.m. (CT) – 1:00 p.m. (CT)\nJoin us for an action-packed afternoon at WhirlyBall Twin Cities – Maple Grove! We’ll have two reserved WhirlyBall courts\, the Laser Tag Arena\, and a private banquet room for lunch and activities. WhirlyBall is a fast-paced\, team-based game that’s great for all ages and skill levels. Players break into teams and use bumper cars and scoops to pass a wiffle ball and score against the opposing team. No experience required\, just come ready to have fun! \nLaser Tag will also be available for those who want an exciting\, fast-moving game in the area. Table activities will be provided for anyone who prefers to cheer from the sidelines or relax in the banquet. \nA build-your-own taco and fajita bar will be served at 11:00 am as attendees arrive. The menu includes: Carne asada steak\, grilled chicken\, roasted peppers & onions\, cilantro lime rice\, pinto beans\, house-made corn chips\, flour tortillas\, and all the fixings (lettuce\, cheese\, salsa\, sour cream\, and guacamole). \nPlease Note:  \n\nYou will receive an email with waivers for the event within a week after registering.
