DESCRIPTION:Join Us for Community & Connection\nConnect2Connect provides opportunities for foster\, adoptive and kinship (formal or informal) families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person\, interactive\, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children\, Youth\, and Families Permanency Support Service grant. \nSunday\, May 17th\, 2026\, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (CT)\nRed Barn Learning Farm; Hayfield\, MN\nPlease join us for an afternoon of connection\, play\, and farm fun at Red Barn Learning Farm – a destination your kids will be talking about for months to come! \nFamilies are welcome to arrive beginning at 12:00 pm\, when a sandwich lunch will be available in the picnic space. After lunch\, enjoy hands‑on activities and time to explore everything the farm has to offer together. \nActivities include: \n\nJump Pad\nIndoor Corn Pit\nLarge Petting Zoo\nBarnyard Basketball\nFarm Photo‑Op Areas\nBarnyard Play Yard\nClimbing in the silo\nJumping on straw bales in the barn\nCuddling a farm kitty\nPedal tractors\n\nThis event is designed for the whole family\, caregivers and kids alike\, and offers space for movement\, curiosity\, and connection at your own pace. \nWe look forward to gathering together in this relaxed\, welcoming farm setting! \nPlease note: You will receive an email with waivers for the event within a week after registering.
