DESCRIPTION:Join Us for Community & Connection\nConnect2Connect provides opportunities for foster and adoptive families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person\, interactive\, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children\, Youth\, and Families Permanency Support Service grant. \nSaturday\, September 19th\, 2026\, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (CT)\nHemker Park & Zoo – Freeport\, MN\nCome spend a fun-filled day with us at the zoo! We’ll gather for a group picnic before enjoying special animal encounters featuring favorites like a kangaroo and giraffe. Then\, sit back and take in the sights on a tram tour of the entire zoo. Scheduled activities end at 2:00 p.m.\, but you’re welcome to continue exploring and enjoying the zoo on your own afterward. \nPlease note: You will receive an email with waivers for the event within a week after registering.
