DESCRIPTION:Join Us for Community & Connection\nConnect2Connect provides opportunities for foster and adoptive families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person\, interactive\, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children\, Youth\, and Families Permanency Support Service grant. \nChildren’s Home recognizes that Pride families may have different experiences from the larger foster and adoptive community and want to provide a safe and dedicated space for connection with families sharing in those experiences. \nSunday\, October 4th\, 2026\, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (CT)\nOsceola & St. Croix Valley Railway – Osceola\, WI 54020\nPlease join us for a day on the train! We will board the train in Osceola\, Wisconsin for a tour of the river valley’s fall colors. These iconic rides are 90 minutes long. We will have food and lots of fun on the train. There are bathrooms available during the ride. \nFor more information on the train rides\, visit Minnesota Transportation Museum | Train Rides in WI & Museum in MN \nPlease note: You will receive an email with waivers for the event within a week after registering. If you do not complete the waivers by the deadline\, you will forfeit your spot to attend. \n*This event takes place across state lines\, you may need special permission for your foster placement. \nRegister Here
