Though a fan of routine, Sean is always up for a new adventure. These “adventures” can be chances to explore new locations—like a trip to Maritime park—or even new toys—like a trip to Target to try out the new Nintendo Switch.
This 13 year old’s adventurous spirit often brings him outdoors. At his last foster home he would ride his bike around the park—embracing the fresh air and his independence. And his love of nature includes a love for animals. “When we meet again, he wants to hike, swim, or visit the Humane Society,” shares Kelli.
When Sean and Kelli meet, the conversation simply flows while they enjoy some Taco Bell cheesy roll ups—Sean’s favorite food. “It’s never a struggle to talk with him. He’s pretty outgoing and can often be unintentionally funny,” says Kelli. “He likes to ask questions about what we’re doing or the things around us.”
Sean eagerly waits to be adopted by a family that can devote their time to him. He would do best as the only child in the home. He would love a family that will share in long conversations and new experiences. He needs a family that can give him constant reminders and structure and will remain committed to him regardless of what happens in the future. His family would also need help him maintain contact with his biological sibling—therefore it would be best if his adoptive family lives in Minnesota.
