Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. (CT)

Please join us for a Deeper Dive webinar on Mental Health Crisis Planning for Families. Learn the symptoms that can lead to a crisis, steps to take, de-escalation techniques, and the role of county crisis teams. Develop a crisis plan for your child and family. This webinar is for prospective and current foster and adoptive parents.

Presented by Renée Labat, Youth Program Coordinator at NAMI Minnesota
Renée Labat graduated from Luther College with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish and is currently pursuing a Masters in Global Public Health from St. Catherine University. After college, Renee spent a year volunteering in Argentina and then worked as a direct support professional for people with disabilities and a youth counselor at a residential treatment center for youth with mental illnesses. She is now the youth program coordinator at NAMI Minnesota where she coordinates and teaches classes for youth, parents, and educators. Being someone who waited 10 years to get help for her depression, her favorite part of her job is being able to tell youth that help is out there and they should not be afraid to reach out.

This webinar will take place on Zoom and it will be recorded. You will receive the link to join after registering below.
