Help Support a Unique Children’s Home
Inspiration Society of Nepal
This project is small but has a mighty impact. Inspiration Society of Nepal
(ISN) provides care to 15-20 orphaned and abandoned children in Kathmandu, Nepal. ISN was founded in 2006 by Uma Karki, a young Nepalese woman who broke caste and cultural barriers to serve these children.
ISN provides more than shelter, through its family-home setting it offers nutritious meals, education, medical care, cultural celebrations and, when possible, reunifies children with their families.
Thankfully the children and staff of ISN survived the devastating earthquake in 2015. Funds from this project helped to repair damages to their home and provided emergency supplies.
Still reeling from the psychological and economic impacts of the earthquake, as well as the suspension of international adoptions, support for ISN is especially critical at this time. The organization does not receive government subsidies and relies on the generosity of donors like you.
