Children’s Assistance Fund
Despite the closure of our adoption program in Vietnam, CH/LSS continues to assist in the provision of care for children outside of familial care. In particular, this project supports a young woman named Man. Over the past six years, this project has provided her with care, protection, healthcare and education. Man suffers from cerebral palsy, our staff met her while she was living neglected in a small corner of a busy orphanage. This fund enabled Man to transition to a loving foster home and acquire medical care which greatly improved her mobility and speech. We continue this commitment to Man through the Children’s Assistance Fund. Contributions will help to transition Man to young adulthood and provide skills training.
Catalyst Foundation
Catalyst Foundation focuses on the prevention of human trafficking through community programs that “provide basic needs, job opportunities, counseling, and education to prevent the trafficking of young children. We believe that through these support mechanisms, the cycle of poverty can be broken and we can be the catalyst of hope. There is no simple option to stop trafficking. Catalyst Foundation believes there is only a holistic approach to ending this tragedy. Through education and community development, we are giving these communities and its daughters HOPE!” Contributions can be made directly to Catalyst or we will pass them to the project through Global Family Support.
