Caregivers of all kinds may find themselves supporting a child without the material items or financial resources they need. This can be especially true for relative and kinship caregivers who often step into their role unexpectedly and with little time to prepare.
We understand these challenges. Our Community Closet was created to help remove barriers and ensrue that every child has what they need to feel safe, comfortable and supported.
With the help of generous community donors, our Community Closet can help caregivers focus on what matters most: providing a stable, nuruturing environment for kids in their care.

Why the Community Closet Matters
Many children entering foster care arrive with only the belongings they can carry, often transported in trash bags. At CH/LSS, we believe every child deserves dignity and comfort. The Community Closet was created to meet immediate needs and ensure families have the essentials to welcome a child into their home.
Thank you for supporting the children and families we serve.
