Avery is a friendly, creative, and fun teenager. His favorite subject in school is design class. He enjoys film and coding and has participated in an after-school craft club that involved sewing and working with fabric.
Outside of school, Avery enjoys playing basketball, skateboarding, and swimming. He also loves reading (especially Manga books), playing guitar, and listening to music. Looking down the road, Avery hopes to have a career as a musician or video game coder.
When thinking about what family means to him, Avery says, “Family are people you can trust, people who protects you, and people who can provide guidance and support.”
An ideal family for Avery would live in either the suburbs or city, in a single or two-parent household. Avery does well with some independence and is motivated by incentives, but he would still benefit from consistent supervision, clear boundaries, structure, open-minded attitudes, and patience.
Avery hopes his forever family is easygoing and relaxed, but also enjoys being active, trying new things, and exploring new places.
“Avery is a kind and creative young man who is a lot of fun and has a great sense of humor,” says his Child Specific Recruiter, Michelle. “He has diverse interests and is very open-minded. He is respectful of other people’s ideas and beliefs and wants to be in a family with open-minded, empathetic individuals.”
