Child-Centered, Intensive & Supportive Services to help Children in Foster Care Achieve Permanency
Our Child-Specific Recruitment (CSR) services support counties, sovereign nations and permanency teams in identifying and building lasting, affirming permanency options and lifelong connections for youth who have not achieved permanency through routine efforts.
Under the Public Private Permanency Collaboration (PPPC) with the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), these services are available at no cost to referring counties and sovereign nations.
Our approach is thorough but flexible, designed to meet the needs of children with complex permanency obstacles. Youth are active members of their permanency team. Their voice, lived experience and preferences guide recruitment activities and decision making. We use a team approach and maintain regular contact with the child(ren)’s workers and current providers.
These services are now available to children whose permanency outcome includes Transfer of Permanent Legal and Physical Custody (TPLPC).
Who We Serve
- Ages 6–21
- Children under 6 may be eligible if they are a part of a sibling group where at least one child is age 6+
- Youth 18-21 must be enrolled in extended foster care services
- Individuals part of a sibling groups (siblings referred together unless there is a court‑ordered separation)
- Under state or guardianship of a sovereign nation.
- Located in any of Minnesota’s 87 counties.
