Choi is a creative sixteen-year-old who enjoys magic cards, magic tricks, and music (especially electronic dance music). He is very smart and a quick learner! His favorite classes at school are music and gym.
Outside of school, Choi likes to relax by watching TV and movies, listening to music, going out to eat, going on walks, and spending time on his phone. One of Choi’s most unique interests is studying and interpreting dreams. He connects his dreams to reality and interprets their meaning using his dream book. He is a deep thinker and enjoys this process of inner thinking.
When thinking about the type of forever family Choi would thrive in, Colleen, his Child Specific Recruiter says, “Choi would thrive in a strong, committed, and supportive two-parent home with a mom and dad. Choi has lived in the metro and rural areas but would benefit from living in the rural area will less traffic! He would do best as the only child or older children he can look up to as role models.”
“Choi is very resilient. He has overcome many struggles and continues to fight for himself!” -Colleen Kue, Child Specific Recruiter
Choi looks forward to the consistency and stability a forever family would bring to his life and looks forward to having his own things. He enjoys being allowed a certain amount of freedom, but he still needs structure and a strong support system. Choi has struggled with utilizing his therapy services in the past, so it will be very important for his forever family to collaborate with his therapist and be trauma-informed.
“Choi is very resilient,” says Colleen. “He has overcome many struggles and continues to fight for himself!”
When thinking about his hopes for the future, Choi says, “I want to become a YouTuber and make music videos. I want a family that is willing to talk to me and willing to put themselves on the line for me.”
A family that can support and encourage Choi’s hopes and dreams, while helping him learn and maintain appropriate boundaries will help deepen his creative ambitions and help set him up for success as he continues to grow and develop.
