Help us advocate for this waiting child in preparation for Rare Disease Day on February 28
XW is a 7-year-old who wishes to have parents and grandparents who will care for her, love her and give her warm hugs. She is a shy little girl whose name means gentle and pretty. She gets along well with caregivers, enjoys playing with other children and is fond of helping others. It’s reported that her language and cognitive development appears to be similar to her peers. She can speak in sentences, communicates her needs well, and likes to sing children’s songs. She likes to wave her hands while dancing and was able to perform in a recital last summer. XW shows good independent skills: she is learning to dress herself, feed herself and use the bathroom on her own.
