Orphanage Assistance
China has a vast network of welfare institutions that provide care to orphaned and abandoned children. With a population of over 1.2 billion, there are tens of thousands of children residing in China’s welfare system. Alongside our international adoption program, we strive to improve conditions for children who remain in China. The need is great. Past efforts through our Orphanage Assistance fund have included: caregiver training programs, foster care programming, facility upgrades, educational support in rural areas, and the provision of medical care and therapeutic equipment for children with special needs.
