Help Support Vulnerable Children and Families in India
St. Jude’s Charitable Trust
Children’s Home has a long history of supporting children and families in India. Along with our adoption program, our Global Family Support efforts have grown and changed over the years. Previous efforts have helped to build care facilities, supported the prevention of female infanticide, provided small business development, and provided transportation to rural students who would otherwise not have educational opportunities.
Currently, our efforts are focused on St. Jude’s Charitable Trust which is based in Kerala and has expertise in orphanage care, family counseling, community social services, domestic abuse prevention, and education, along with vocational training for vulnerable populations.
Support for this project will help expand quality early childhood educator training. Since it began training in 2007, thousands have benefited from St. Jude’s programming and the organization hopes to expand further in their state and beyond.
St. Jude’s Charitable Trust is currently focused on COVID-19 relief efforts in India, targeting 12 government-run orphanages with much-needed supplies of PPE and oxygen.
