World Down Syndrome Day Advocacy | Meet an adorable 2-year-old girl that loves to play the tambourine

March 20, 2018 by Staff Contributor

Help us advocate for this waiting child in recognition of Down Syndrome Day
XM is an adorable 2 year old from Asia who can sit by herself, crawl on her stomach and roll on her back. She understands when given simple commands such as “sit down” and is able to drink out of her own bottle. With some assistance, she can grab her toys such her yellow toy truck. She loves to hug her toy bear and shake her tambourine to music.

General Eligibility Requirements

All applicants must be at least 30 years old. For heterosexual married couples, there can be no more than 50 years’ difference between the youngest parent and the child. Single women are eligible and cannot have more than 45 years’ difference between themselves and the child. Applicants cannot have serious physical or behavioral health concerns. Eligibility requirements vary so please inquire to discuss individual circumstances and eligibility.
