Join Us for Community & Connection
Connect2Connect provides opportunities for foster, adoptive and kinship (formal or informal) families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person, interactive, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families Permanency Support Service grant.

Red Barn Learning Farm; Hayfield, MN
Please join us for an afternoon of connection, play, and farm fun at Red Barn Learning Farm – a destination your kids will be talking about for months to come!
Families are welcome to arrive beginning at 12:00 pm, when a sandwich lunch will be available in the picnic space. After lunch, enjoy hands‑on activities and time to explore everything the farm has to offer together.
Activities include:
- Jump Pad
- Indoor Corn Pit
- Large Petting Zoo
- Barnyard Basketball
- Farm Photo‑Op Areas
- Barnyard Play Yard
- Climbing in the silo
- Jumping on straw bales in the barn
- Cuddling a farm kitty
- Pedal tractors
This event is designed for the whole family, caregivers and kids alike, and offers space for movement, curiosity, and connection at your own pace.
We look forward to gathering together in this relaxed, welcoming farm setting!
Please note: You will receive an email with waivers for the event within a week after registering. If you do not complete the waivers by the deadline, you will forfeit your spot to attend.
