Lonnae, age 17, is an outgoing, talkative, and energetic girl who truly appreciates companionship. While shy at times, she is extremely lovable and enjoys one-on-one attention and praise. Lonnae loves school, works hard on her academics, and likes to discuss her school work and scholastic progress.
Lonnae loves animals and is a wonderful caretaker! She has been the proud owner of a well-cared-for (and much loved) beta fish for several months. She is also a determined worker and has held a number of jobs within school (her favorite job is disassembling computers, then she also makes popcorn and washes lunchroom dishes). In addition, Lonnae enjoys listening to music, riding her bike, dodgeball, swimming, coloring, cooking, playing video games, working on computers, and playing with electronics of all kinds.
There is never a dull moment when around Lonnae. She enjoys telling stories, watching sports, and eating pizza (but you’ll never see her eat seafood!). Lonnae is an engaging and intelligent girl—give her a phone number once and she will remember it forever! She is looking for an experienced adoptive family to provide her with a lot of love and attention, which she is eager to reciprocate. Lonnae is a caring and compassionate girl eager to meet her future family.
Details to Note
We are looking for a committed, energetic and patient family that can provide a loving and supportive home for Lonnae. Ideally, Lonnae’s adoptive family will be located in the Twin Cities. This is not a requirement, though their adoptive family should live in Minnesota. Lonnae would benefit from being the youngest or only child in a home.
The majority of costs to Minnesota clients adopting a child under Minnesota state guardianship are covered by a contract with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
