One-on-One Consultation

Our friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable staff are here to answer all of your adoption and foster care questions. We are happy to talk with you about your individual interests and circumstances. Most consultations last 30-45 min and can be held via Zoom, phone, or in-person at our St. Paul office.

Financing Your Adoption

Often families who adopt have the means to support a child, but they do not have the financial resources to cover all of the upfront fees.

In addition to our own grant program, called the Adoption Support Fund, those working with CH/LSS have free access to Your Adoption Finance Coach. This service can provide budgeting support, grant assistance, and more!

Home Study Services

An adoption home study is required for all international, infant/private and foster care adoptions. If you reside in Minnesota, we may be able to provide you with home study services while you use another agency for the placement of a child.

Accommodations

Reasonable accommodations shall be made for people with communication disabilities and those who speak a language other than English.
