Hello! Thank you SO much for taking the time to read our story. While we can’t begin to imagine the many emotions you are navigating right now, we are truly honored that you’re considering our family. We have been praying to grow our family for years, and our prayers include you, too. It would be our privilege to welcome a child—and you—into our lives.

Favorites and More About Us

Travel is one of our favorite things to do, and we try to go on at least one big trip and many smaller adventures each year. Between us right now we have been to 5 of the 7 continents including Antarctica where Adam did grad school research, and Asia where Christine explored 3 countries for a month with friends who lived there. 

Nature is another of our favorites, even if Christine’s allergies do not always agree, so we love to spend time outside exploring trails or just working in our garden and flowerbeds. 

Faith is very important to us which we will share with a child, but our priority is to raise a child with a strong moral foundation while supporting them in whatever their own heart decides.  

Above all, we are each other’s favorite —and Baxter is right there with us. We truly cherish just being together, no matter what we are doing or where we are. Our hearts are full of love and care to share with a child, and we are so eager to embrace both the blessings and the challenges that come with the journey of parenthood. 

Our Community

We live in Zumbrota, MN (part way between Rochester and the Twin Cities) where Christine has taught for well over a decade. Our neighborhood is growing and filled with children of all ages. Zumbrota has many parks and a nice paved trail that goes between communities. The schools here are highly rated and have a lot of support for any needs or interests a child may have. 

Our Friends and Family 

We are fortunate to both come from close families and enjoy spending as much time as possible together. Adam grew up near Green Bay, WI, where his parents and sister still live. We’re lucky to have the rest of our immediate family living between 30 – 90 minutes from us. All four grandparents are retired and eager to spoil a new grandchild, and our siblings and nieces are already counting down the days. We also have some wonderful friends living near and far who are parents themselves and can’t wait for playdates and to support us as we grow our family. 

Our Promise to You 

Adoption has been part of our plan since we first started dating. It is a path we have chosen with intention, and we are fully committed to an open adoption. We have worked hard to ensure a stable future for a child, from saving for their education and other interests to preparing ourselves for the joys and challenges of parenthood.
