Meet ZR | An Unstoppable and Smart Young Boy

June 1, 2016 by Staff Contributor

A picture of ZR, a little boy with special needs waiting for adoption.“ZR,” a little boy who will turn 5 next month, has captured the heart of agency staff that has met him through our one-on-one partnership. His name means “unstoppable” and he certainly doesn’t let his medical need slow him down. ”ZR” was observed to have a bright personality, has a lot of curiosity and loves to play. He quickly figured out staff’s iPad games and in our 2015 observation, he was stacking blocks, following instructions, throwing a ball, and working very hard at getting a box open for treats. He is known as a smart, very outgoing and brave boy! He has normal language development and can speak in full sentences and express his needs and feelings. He can go up and down stairs, protects his friends when they are getting picked on, and is helpful caring for the other children. He enjoys playing on the slide with his peers, listening to music, dancing and is simply happy when he is engaged in outdoor activities.

We have a number of photos and videos of “ZR” available to those who inquire.
