Join Us for Community & Connection
Connect2Connect provides opportunities for foster and adoptive families to connect with one another and build relationships in an in-person, interactive, and fun way. Connect2Connect is made possible by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families Permanency Support Service grant.
Children’s Home recognizes that Pride community families may have different experiences from the larger foster and adoptive community and want to provide a safe and dedicated space for connection with families sharing in those experiences.
Carlson’s Lovable Llamas – Waconia, MN
Sunday, June 28th, 2026, from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm (CT)
Please join us for an afternoon of connection, play, and Llama snuggles at Carlson’s Lovable Llamas.
Families should arrive at 10:30am. Our group will learn about Llamas, spend time brushing and feeding llamas, and then take the llamas for a walk. At 12:00pm, we will eat lunch at the picnic tables. Lunch will be provided.
This event is designed for the whole family, caregivers and kids alike, and offers space for movement, curiosity, and connection at your own pace.
We look forward to gathering together in this relaxed, welcoming farm setting!
Please note: You will receive an email with waivers for the event within a week after registering. If you do not complete the waivers by the deadline, you will forfeit your spot to attend.
