We provide all options, non-directive counseling to expectant parents; respecting all of their decisions. We listen without judgment and provide information and support. Our free and confidential pregnancy counseling is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout all stages of pregnancy.

The choices and decisions are yours. We offer practical guidance and emotional support to every expectant mother and/or expectant father. This promise extends to family members and professionals who are inquiring on behalf of an individual facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Choosing to Parent

You may be worried about whether you are ready to become a parent. Our counselors will help you consider if parenting is right for you and connect you with resources and information to help you prepare for your child.

Choosing Open Adoption

You may come to the decision that you are not in a position to parent. However, you can still play a role in your child’s life. In an open adoption, you will choose the family to adopt your child, and work with them to prepare an open adoption plan.

Connect with Birth Families

No one can understand exactly what you are going through. However, other birth families and birth parents can often understand the emotions and concerns that you’re experiencing better than any one else, both during an unexpected pregnancy and throughout the years afterward. For this reason, we’d like to offer a way for birth families to connect, whether you are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy now, or experienced one in the past.

If you are interested in connecting with other birth families, please fill out the form below. We will send out an email to everyone who has indicated interest once a month so that you can choose to connect with each other in any way you feel comfortable. Any groups that may be formed will not be facilitated by Children’s Home and LSS staff, but we are always available should you need assistance. Please feel free to contact us (contact information listed above).
