Hello there!

Thank you for taking time to get to know us a little here. We have much respect for you in your decision to consider adoption. We admire your courage. Thank you for the love you are showing to your child in making a hard choice. We hope getting to know us will help you in your decision to place for adoption. We have always known we would adopt and have prepared a place for a child in our home & in our hearts. We feel the gravity of the responsibility of caring for your child. Our promise is to love and cherish your child and to include you in their life. We hope to earn your trust and welcome you with open arms.

Anna in Jordan’s words:

Anna is thoughtful, caring and empathetic. She makes sure others feel included and their voices are heard. Anna loves spending time with friends and family and enjoys deep friendships. She has an artistic mind, whether in her interior design career or painting watercolor flowers. Anna is always on the lookout for fun and an adventure. She often enjoys leather working, kayaking, painting and playing trivia with friends.

Jordan in Anna’s words:

Jordan is calm, stable and patient. He works hard to improve himself and set healthy habits. Jordan seeks to serve and help others, like doing tech at church. He is very observant and intentional within his friendships, showing that he cares. Although calm, Jordan is also full of energy. This helps him quickly become the favorite among children. You can often find Jordan birdwatching, cooking, being outside or computer programming.

Our Family

We live in Northeast Minneapolis near many parks. Every year we look forward to our backyard vegetable garden. Jordan is a software engineer & Anna is an interior designer. Our two cats, Luna & Stella, are friendly & love to snuggle. Both of our families live nearby and our church family lives even closer. We are very engaged with our church and volunteering to support foster families. We love trying new things, enjoying a wide variety of food, spending time outside, being with friends & family, playing games and going to local concerts. Every year we go on vacations with our families including camping in Northern Minnesota. Other traditions include making homemade pizza, hiking at Afton State Park on Black Friday, water sports on Fourth of July at the cabin and visiting the 4H building at the State Fair. The children in our lives are many including nieces, nephews, godchildren and children we are close to in our church. We enjoy playing and talking with them and seeing them grow.

We promise to help your child:

– develop connection, trust and nurturing relationships.
– feel both known and loved.
– explore & enjoy the world to its fullest.
– find their passions.
– be a lifelong learner, constantly growing & developing humility.
– genuinely love others and themselves.
– have a strong sense of identity by including you in their lives.
