Our Story

We are high school sweethearts who have been side by side since 2004. From prom dates to renovating our first home, to farming together, we’ve built our life on friendship, faith, and commitment.

Melissa is a nurse with a nurturing heart who loves caring for others. Brandon is a probation officer who is steady, patient, and warm hearted.

After experiencing infertility, we realized our path to parenthood would look different. Adoption is not a second choice for us – it is a deeply intentional and beautiful one. We are ready to love a child wholeheartedly.

Hobbies & Interests

Anything outdoors – camping, side by side cruising, fishing, snowshoeing, gardening, traveling, home projects, spending time at the family cabin, spending time with family, friends, and our dogs.

Family & Everyday Life

Miles (11) Lab & Rex (7) Mini Golden Doodle. Both boys are very good with children, love to play, and are very excited to be big brothers!

We have four nephews who we adore and see often. Our extended family lives nearby, and our child would grow up surrounded by cousins, grandparents, and support.

We are a very close-knit family. Growing up in the same small town, we share many mutual friends, and our families are both very close.

Brandon grew up in the country near Belle Plaine, MN. He has two older sisters. His family is very supportive of our adoption.

Melissa grew up on a farm in Norwood, MN as an only child. Her parents continue to live on the farm. Growing up on a farm taught her many valuable lessons and really enforced the importance of family.

Melissa and Brandon help her parents on the farm and also bought our very own piece of land in 2024. We both love to be at the farm and plan to build a home on our property someday!
