If we are lucky enough to be chosen, we are excited not only to welcome a child into our lives, but also to form a meaningful relationship with you—one built on trust, openness, and mutual care. We are open to whatever level of contact feels safe and healthy for everyone involved, whether that means sharing photos and letters, having in-person visits, or staying connected over time in other meaningful ways.

Above all, we want your child to grow up knowing how deeply they are loved by you. We will raise them with unconditional love, support, and a deep respect for their full story—including you.

MEET US

We’re Hannah and Erik — a couple who loves creating a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter, love, and adventure. We started dating in 2018 and got married in 2021. In that time, we’ve rescued four pets and fostered several more, explored the Rocky Mountains, kayaked in Alaska, deep sea fished in San Diego, and visited many other cities across the country.

When not traveling, we fill our days with reading, cooking, and spending time with our pets, family, and friends. We enjoy trivia nights and other community events, catching a baseball or hockey game, and spoiling our nieces.

Our relationship is built on trust, respect, and unwavering support for one another. Whether exploring new places, spending time outdoors, or enjoying simple nights at home with our pets, we find joy in the big and small moments of life.

Adoption holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re excited to grow our family through this journey.

• 🎓 Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 🏗️ Manager at a major construction company—known for organization and steady leadership
• 🌎 Has traveled to 42 states
• 🦅 Former Eagle Scout who values hard work and community
• 🏃‍♂️ Avid runner—completed 10 half marathons and 2 marathons (training for #3 in 2025!)
• ⚾ Passionate about sports—especially baseball (has encyclopedic stat knowledge!)
• 🍳 Great cook—specializes in grilling steaks and making weekend pancake breakfasts
• 📖 Loves reading—especially sci-fi, thrillers, and mystery novels
• 🌟 Loyal, grounded, and kind — looking forward to sharing his love for adventure, laughter, and learning as a dad

 

MEET HANNAH

• ✨ Creative, compassionate, and curious
• 🎓 Holds a degree in Chemistry and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering
• 🧀 Originally from Wisconsin (loves all things cheese!)
• 🌎 Has traveled to 26 states and Canada
• 🌱 Enjoys gardening — grows vegetables, herbs, flowers, and has a house full of plants
• 🧑‍🍳 Loves baking and cooking — especially homemade soups, breads, and sweet treats
• 🧩 Plays word games like crosswords, Wordle, and Connections
• 📚 Avid reader — loves mysteries, rom-coms, and contemporary fiction
• 💖 Known for her empathy, resilience, and steady compassion
• 👩‍👧 Excited to share her love of learning, nurturing, and playfulness as a mom

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO

• Enjoying Friday evening patio parties and ice cream truck visits with friends and family
• Hunting, fishing, hiking, birding, and camping together — especially with Erik’s family during the summer and fall
• Planting, tending, and harvesting our vegetable garden as a family, and expanding it as we grow
• Baking and decorating cookies and treats for the holidays
• Celebrating life’s moments — big milestones and everyday wins alike
• Revisiting classic kids’ books and reading bedtime stories together
• Weekly game and movie nights to laugh, connect, and unwind
• Visiting museums, aquariums, zoos, and other places that spark curiosity and learning
• Traveling to new places to experience different cultures, foods, and traditions
• Honoring our adoption journey with meaningful traditions, like “Family Day”
• Volunteering together to foster empathy, compassion, and community spirit
• Creating new family traditions and routines that make home feel safe and full of love
• Celebrating the child’s cultural heritage through books, events, food, and community connections
• Taking time to enjoy the little things — walks in nature, silly crafts, garden discoveries, and quiet moments together
