Hello!

Thank you for considering giving us the greatest gift anyone could give. We don’t know your story but think that what you are considering is courageous. We want you to know that the decision you are making will change our life and yours. We can only speculate that this is one of the toughest decisions you’ve ever had to make, and we would like to show you the kind of family we are, the people we are, and the life we are planning for our future child.

Our Dream for the Future…

To raise a child surrounded and encouraged by our village of family and friends. To teach them to love adventure through travel. To help them learn teamwork through sports and activities. To feel unconditional love and support to follow their ambitions.

Our dream is to be able to teach our child about you and where they came from. You will be spoken about with honor and celebrated in our family. We hope for an open adoption and would like to share updates and milestones along the way if you wish.

We hope the following pictures and words help you see the dreams we’ve built, and the one that we hope for.

This is Jason

Sarah describes Jason as everyone’s best friend. He’s easy to love, incredibly loyal, supportive, playful, funny and full of energy. Jason loves to golf, play softball, hunt, workout, hit the dance floor and can turn almost anything into a game.

He’s the literal life of the party!

Here’s Sarah

Jason describes Sarah as confident, loving, caring, smart, practical and says she’s “a person with a huge heart”. Sarah loves decorating, planning parties, catching up on podcasts and having a good conversation over a cup of coffee or glass of wine with friends.

She’s at her sparkliest when she’s making things beautiful and connecting people!

About Our Home

We live in Eagan, Minnesota in a four bedroom home situated in the middle of a cul-de-sac with a big back yard. Jason and Sarah share the home with their 12 year old dog Humphrey and Sarah’s Mom Pam. Humphrey is the resident household “project manager” he’s a happy pup who loves his people. He’s an expert snuggler and keeps everyone laughing and on schedule. Pam is 15 year “veteran” Grandma. She loves to zip around in her convertible, help Sarah create beautiful space in their home with her green thumb, and her love language is cooking people tasty food. Her cheesecake, pot pies and Grandma brownies are crowd favorites!

Family

Jason has four siblings (Sarah, Ann, Danny and Mark), one step brother (Jason) and a huge extended family that gives us plenty of reasons to throw a party. Jason’s Mom, Nancy, and Step Dad, Buzz, host Sunday dinner every week at their home in Apple Valley Minnesota. Grandma Nancy loves spoiling her grandbabies and Grandpa Buzz is always ready to play. They never miss a tournament or recital for Lydia, Danny, Calvin or Elise.

Birthdays and holiday dinners are an important tradition for Sarah and her family. Thanksgiving is a favorite for her brother Bobby, niece Jaida and Mom Pam. Grandma Pam always impresses with her pie art and custom birthday cakes. Sarah’s Dad, Brendt, and Step Mom, Patty, have a beautiful lake home in Buffalo Minnesota and love to have their kids (Zack, Lyuda, Hilary and Brett) and grandkids (Jaida, Olen, Willa and Henry) out to the pool to celebrate the 4th of July. Grandpa Brendt is always ready to take someone for a ride is his pontoon and is the family “nap champion”. Grandma Patty picks the best Christmas ornaments, puts together the best fireworks display and is ready to add space for another grandkid to love in her “baby bunkhouse”.

And Friends!

We believe that friends are the extra family you choose, and we love spending time with them. Jason and Sarah’s closest friends have been a part of their lives since childhood. Jason grew up with his “West St. Paul Crew” and they’ve been together since front yard football. Sarah met her “Yayas” in high school and shortly after and they’re her soul sisters. We’re so lucky to have this incredible support system in our lives and are privileged to become a part of their families. We’re “Auntie Sarah and Uncle Jason” to a legion of kiddos. Jason is Godfather to Bryce and Sarah and Jason are Godmother and Godfather to Harrison (in addition to their nephew Calvin). And our village doesn’t end there. We have countless other friends and loved ones who are so supportive. In fact, our friends (with the help of our family) planned an adoption fundraising celebration to show their support and excitement last May. They can’t wait to open their arms to a new addition.
