Justin and Michelle

Matched

Home Location: Twin Cities Metro

Family Status: Couple without children

Children in Home: None

Child Ethnicity: African American, Asian, Caucasian, Hispanic/Latino, Native American

Hello!  We are Justin and Michelle and we are seeking to fill in the missing pieces of our family puzzle.  Family, friends, beaches, lakes, sports and four legged-fur babies fill our lives today.  We are hoping to bring a little one on board!

We are both delighted and a little nervous about this new chapter in our life.  We are ready to step into the unknown, learn, grow and give as much love as we possibly can and are excited to expand our family.

We would like to express our gratitude to you for taking the time to consider us in your journey.  The roller coaster of life has led you to our profile and we are anxious to see what the future will hold.

Good to Know:

  • We met in college and were friends for years before we started dating.
  • We have been married since 2009.
  • Family and friends mean the world to us.
  • We love spending time on the water, at the lake, on a beach or in our backyard enjoying a campfire.
  • We believe in being kind, helping others, working hard, taking accountability, loving others and having fun.
  • We have a love for dogs.
  • We enjoy golfing and having fun with a little healthy competition.
  • We both learned teamwork through sports growing up and still play in leagues with our friends.
  • We hold family traditions and events close to our hearts.

Our Family

Hardworking, passionate, supportive, caring and loyal describe both of our families.  We are close with our families and enjoy vacationing together.  Whether it’s going to Florida, spending time at a cabin up north, or playing back yard games, we simply enjoy the time together.  Michelle is blessed with older siblings. Justin is an only child, but you’d never know it as his cousins are like siblings.

We are both extremely fortunate with encouraging and supportive friends and families and can’t wait to share that blessing.  We’ve watched our niece and nephew learn to ski, fish and grow up when we went to the cabin with our family and would love to share that same experience with a child.  Bring a dollar when fishing with grandpa as the first person who catches a fish wins the prize.

About Justin (By Michelle)

Justin grew up in the twin cities (South St. Paul) and travelled to many cities to compete in soccer, hockey and baseball tournaments.  His love for sports led to him obtaining his BS degree in Sports Management and he has been the store manager of a sporting goods store since 2009.

Words that describe Justin:

  • Loyal: He is someone that will always be there and keeps relationships till the end of time. Many of his closest friends are friends he met as a young kid.
  • Leader: Justin leads by example. He won’t ask you to do something if he’s not willing to do it too.
  • Competitive: He strives to be the best at things and as a result he will push others around him to be better.
  • Tenacious: If he sets his mind to something, he will achieve it.
  • Committed: Pitter, Patter, Let’s get at ‘er – His motto. He likes to get things done.  When it’s time to work, he works hard and is committed and when it’s time to have fun, he’ll cut loose.
  • Thoughtful and Caring: Each greeting card Justin gives out is truly meant to capture the words he is thinking and how he feels about the person receiving it. His card choices will bring you to tears.

Justin Fun Facts

  • Sports: Justin is into all things sports and still plays softball and hockey
  • TV Show: The Big Bang Theory or Chicago Fire
  • Hobbies: Golfing, softball, fishing, campfires, volleyball and hockey
  • Food: Eating tacos seven days a week would be totally acceptable
  • Sentimental: Carries a coin from one grandma in his wallet and wears a cross from his other grandma
  • Cooking Channel: Saturday and Sunday mornings are started by watching the cooking channel and enjoying a cup of coffee
  • Was an awesome soccer goalie

Golfing, fishing, beaches, dogs and boats are some of our favorite things

Our Home

Our home is close to family and friends in a quaint suburb of the twin cities with a big backyard.  Our dogs are waiting to have a little one to run around with and there are plenty of neighborhood kids to meet.

Our Dogs

We have two dogs, Riley Ann, the oldest and Maggie Mae, the latest to join our family.  Both are gentle loving dogs who make our godchild belly laugh when they give him countless kisses and roll around on the floor with him.

Maggie, with her signature one ear up, pestering her sister Riley

Enjoying time fishing in our new boat with the watchful eye of Riley keeping a close lookout.  Looking forward to enjoying fishing with a little one and teaching them how to ski and tube!

For us the road to parenthood has had many twists and turns, but we are grateful that path has led us to expanding our family through adoption.  We are excited for this next stage of life to begin and are waiting with open arms to welcome a little one.

Enjoying a nice night in our backyard

Our Promises

If you chose to match with us, your child/our child will always be our first priority.  We promise…

  2. We will show love, teach compassion and respect. We will always be there and will always listen.
  3. We will continue to learn and grow ourselves, while always encouraging and supporting them to seek new adventures and learn and grow.
  4. We will never let anyone go to bed mad or without talking.
  5. We will always be there and will make sure they know how much they are loved by us, family and friends and always by you.
