Dear Mom/Dad/parents,

Whether we are lucky enough to be chosen by you or not, we would like to offer our gratitude and thanks on behalf of all adopting families for going through this journey with all its good and not so pleasant moments, days, and experiences. We hope this profile will tell the story of our journey together in a concise and meaningful way.

Why us:

  • Our family: Rob (born 1979), Karam (born 1974), and Peggy (born 2008) our beautiful sweet pug.
  • We both grew up in loving families and we know how important it is to raise a child in a loving and stable environment. Our families will continue to be a huge part of our lives and will be a strong support and influence to your/our child.
  • We both value higher education, which has made us successful in our careers as a wealth manager (Rob) and a doctor (Karam).
  • We have our love for each other, our beautiful home, and financial stability and would love more than anything to share all of this with your/our child.

 Who we are:

  • Rob was born in Minneapolis and went to Breck School in Golden Valley. Then he continued his higher education at the University of Redlands in California where he majored in Economics.
  • Karam went to Medical School at the University of Damascus in Syria before moving to Michigan to continue his education and training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
  • Peggy is our sweet Pug daughter whom we love and is a big part of our life. She loves to ALWAYS be with us EVERYWHERE and ALL THE TIME.
  • Our Christian values play a big role in who we are, in addition to what we learn from our friends, coworkers, and even random people in our lives from different backgrounds.
  • We have harmoniously blended our two different cultures together. We have taken all the positive aspects of each other’s cultures and incorporated them into our life together. We can’t wait to add a new dimension by learning about and adding your child’s background and culture to ours.
  • While this profile is meant to show the best of us, we want to assure you that we are not extraterrestrial perfect angels. We have our flaws; we get angry, we get frustrated, we frown, we yell, we make mistakes. However, we are still good people, who apologize for our anger, discuss our frustrations, learn from our mistakes, and ask and show forgiveness. We always strive to be better even though we will always be human.
  • We are both family men. Rob is very close to his parents and siblings. He is truly the “funcle” his nieces and nephews love and adore. Rob has a total of 6 nieces and nephews whom Rob has been lucky enough to be a big part of their lives throughout their childhood including going on vacations, attending sporting and choir events and often watching the children while his siblings take a needed break.
  • Karam is the eldest of three siblings, has a younger brother and a youngest sister. Since Karam’s family is not in one place, Karam, his siblings and their parents made a conscious decision to always stay connected. Mima and her her family regularly visit the USA. Imad, Karam, their families and their parents travel to Jordan so the growing family can keep in touch. Karam and his family still celebrate many Christmases, Easters, birthdays, and other life events despite the distance and their busy lives.

All of Karam’s and Rob’s nieces and nephews are very excited to have a new cousin. Thank you and we wish you the best while making this important decision!
