Meet Yuan Le

Thank you for reading my profile. I am excited to start a family and provide a safe and loving home to a child.  Thank you for considering me for such an opportunity.

About Me

I am originally from China and have been in the United States for more than 20 years. I earned my PhD at Mayo Clinic Graduate School, Rochester, MN, and subsequently did research in Maryland, Indiana, Arizona, before being recruited back to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. I work as a research scientist with a wonderful team, developing advanced imaging technology to benefit patients.  It is very fulfilling.

Why Adoption

As an adult, I have always loved taking care of children. I deeply enjoy spending time with the children of my friends and a local relative, playing with them, reading books, just chatting about something like the structure of a flower, or sharing the experience of a dance class. I look forward to having the opportunity to share with my own child the beauty of the world and life, and to help them to grow to be a healthy and happy adult.

My Hobbies and My Friends

I enjoy family and friends, dance, and art, and craftwork, hiking, and reading…

With my ballet classmates, art and painting colleagues, and fellow outdoor enthusiasts, I have wonderful friends and inspiration.

My colleagues and friends in my lab at Mayo Clinic are from all over the world.  We are a close-knit group and support each other in the daily life.  We get together from time to time especially on holidays.

My Home

In my neighborhood, many of the home-owners, including me, have chosen to grow wildflowers in their yards instead of traditional lawns. We share seeds and experience in this project.  The flowers make our community beautiful and support pollinators and our eco-system in general.

My split-level house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.   I have outfitted the family room as a dance studio. One of two bedrooms on the first floor will be the child’s room.
