Help Support Vulnerable Children in Guatemalan Orphanages

Hogar del NiñoGuatemala Hogar del Nino

This amazing organization is home to nearly 500 children ages 3-16 years. Hogar del Niño runs three orphanages and three schools. The schools are private, Catholic, elementary and secondary schools that have many classrooms, a library, computer lab, playground and small farm with animals. Two of the orphanages are designed to care for children depending on their gender; the boys orphanage is home to 185 boys and the girls orphanage is home to about 100 girls.

Your contributions to this project may help the girls and boys orphanages but typically this project offers financial and in-kind donation support to Hogar del Niño’s third orphanage for children with HIV/AIDS called Hogar Madre Anna Vitiello. Located in Sumpango, Guatemala, this orphanage specializes in the care of children with HIV/AIDS and provides medicine, food, education and a loving environment.  They currently care for over 200 children ages 3-16 years. Past contributions made through our Global Family Support program have funded school uniforms, repaired water towers and built new chapel pews.
